Whether you have never played EASH before L or your a EASHL Superstar we have a league for you.
Each year/edition of the EA NHL Video Game, the NHOL will play 3 seasons of  Team 3 vs 3 EASHL Seasons.
If you are new to the NHOL please register to join at JOIN THE NHOL COMMUNITY
The NHOL Community uses the free App called Groupme for our League Chat rooms. Every team manager must have the App.
Teams or free agents added to the NHOL Community Leagues will be added to one of the Leagues based on ability.
Each league will have a Commissioner administrating the league.

Regular Season
Each Regular Season will consist of 31 Teams using NHL Team Names, playing each opponent 2x 1 home and 1 away, a total of 60 games per season.
Additional teams maybe added/deleted as the season progresses if the Commissioner determines that a new team can be added to the group.
The Commissioner will  place them in a conference with respect to balance of both East and West Conferences.
At the completion of the regular season the playoffs will commence.

Playoffs
All teams in each league will make the playoffs, all 31.
Playoff series rounds 1-3 will be a best of 5 games. Conference and Cup Finals will be a best of 7.
All playoff series will be completed at the scheduled time.

The bottom 4 playoff teams in conjunction with their regular season records in each league will be relegated to a lower league the next season.

Management Of Teams
Veteran NHOL Community Members, and Administrators will manage teams in the first season.
The Team Manager will be responsible for all roster moves, entering team statistics, and representing the team at any League meetings.

Each team can have up to 6 active players on their roster.
If a Team Captain needs to sign 2 Emergency Free Agents and has 5 people listed on the active roster they must drop one person from the active roster.
All trades will be subject to NHOL League Commissioner's approval.

PLAYOFFS

  1. All 16 teams will make the playoffs and bracketed by the total points they accrue during the season.
  2. At that point a draft of teams will take place based on the following criteria:

Players 1-12 with the most games play will select any of the 16 teams of their choice.

The remaining 4 teams will be filled from a wildcard tournament of anyone wishing to claim a team

  3. Claiming a playoff team works as follows:

If as example Randy has played the most games, he can select any of the 16 teams in the bracket.

It is then up to Randy to submit a team of up to 4 players to the League Admin that will play with him the entire playoffs.

If one of Randy’s teammates is also a top 12 games played person the 13th person will then get to select a team and control that team.

  4. The Wildcard tournament works as follows:

If as example Jon P has only played a handful of games, or is new to the community and wishes to participate, he can put together a 3s team and compete against similar members in a tournament to grab the last 4 teams and a spot in the playoffs.

Once a team has been crowned the O3L CUP Championship Team, they will receive their rewards and a new season will begin.
