ORIENTATION EASHL
Welcome to the NHOL Community.
Here is information to get you set to play.
It covers the basics how the Leagues work in our group.
If you have questions
at anytime just ask any league administrator in the Discord Chatroom.
Your probably wondering why we
do this detailed orientation and the reason is that our leagues are structured,
there is a method, and reason why we do everything.
We orientate every new member so they understand how the NHOL Community
system works for all modes of EA NHL 21, and soon NHL21 play in our group.
It may seem like a lot of information but we want you to understand how
it works and after a few games playing everything comes clear and in
focus.
The NHOL Community has been in existence 8 years now.
Starting with just 12 players who were friends in a Madden League.
Our leagues are
for players with a mature manner, and
where sportsmanship is our #1 rule.
We have a lot of fun here!
It doesn't matter if your a great player or just a beginner learning to
play. We have a spot for you.
Our average age is 34 years old, we have players as young as 16 and as
old as 70.
We have leagues for Versus 1vs1,
and Eashl.
You are welcome to play in as many leagues as you choose.
If you
have interest in playing in our Versus Leagues, contact Trev the league
administrator in the Discord Chatrooms about playing.
Our Eashl Leagues
are extremely popular.
There are three ways to
play EASHL in the NHOL.
The Team League 3v3,
the EASHL 6vs6 League, and our open ice play .
Most all
our Community members play in all the leagues.
Open Ice Play
The Open Ice League is a EASHL League open to anyone who wishes to play 3vs3 or up to 6vs6 games
with NHOL Community Members against NHOL Community Members.
Anyone wishing to play must register with the NHOL Registration Form before they may play.
You can join the group as an individual, or we welcome any of your own teams, or group of friends all they have to do is register.
Teams are eligible to play using 2vs2 - 3vs3- 4vs4 (With human goalies) in EASHL 3vs3 mode.
4vs4- 5vs5- or 6vs6 in EASHL 6vs6 mode.
All games are arranged in the NHOL EASHL using the Discord Chat room.
Open Ice is a great way to work on your game in a relaxed setting, we consider it our local pickup rink.
As a Free Agent player wanted to play in our 3v3 or 6v6 leagues this is
step 1 in being drafted to a team in either or both.
In the main EASHL chat room just declare you are looking to play or join
a game if players are looking for additional players.
Many of the team managers and team captains play in these games and will
draft you to their team.
Team Leagues
The Team Leagues are for 3vs3 and 6vs6 mode of EASHL
You will be classified as a Free Agent
Player if you are new to the group.
Free Agents should play pickup or open ice games with other NHOL EASHL Community Members
and get picked up by a team manager.
You will be either drafted by a team or auto assigned to a Team League team
if the season has started.
You can also bring a team of friends to play
with, but all members must be registered on the NHOL website to
play.

A league administrator will work with you and show you exactly how the
team leagues works.
Everyone in the community is friendly and gets along.
All of our players say Good Luck (GL) and Good Game (GG) after the game
ends.
Our members are people you will play numerous times, this is not like
playing unknown people in EA.
There is absolutely no complaining in main chat rooms about your
opponents game play, glitches, or anything.
No political or racial (Use
of the N word in any connotation will receive an immediate ban) comments either.
Can you swear, we do not encourage it, and the Admins will ask you not to
make it every other word, and remember we do have females in the community.
Please use common sense in the main chat room, if an Admin asks
you to please stop. Stop!
